Privacy Notice
Last updated 15 September 2026.
- We collect what we need to answer you and build your kit: your contact details, your questionnaire answers, and a record of which pages get read, roughly where from, and on what kind of device.
- Payment goes through Stripe. Your card number never touches us.
- Your answers live in a private repository and a private folder shared only with you. We do not sell data, and there are no ad trackers here. The visit counter we do run sets no cookies.
- Email us any time to see what we hold about you or have it deleted.
This box is a summary for reading speed. The sections below are the actual notice.
Who we are
Keywind is sold by Alex Chan ("we", "us"). For anything in this notice, email alex@getkeywind.com. A real person reads it.
What we collect
- When you buy: payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We see your name, email, and what you bought. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the payment itself.
- When you ask for the walkthrough: there is no form for it any more. You ask by replying to one of the guide emails or by writing to us, so what we hold is your name, your email address and the time you asked. We reply by email.
- When you sign up for the free guide: your first name and email address, plus which page you signed up from and the time. We use them to email you the guide links and at most two short follow-up notes, and then we stop, unless you reply and ask for more. The same hidden spam box applies. On the guide page, anything you type into the worksheet or the time calculator is saved in your own browser and is never sent to us.
- When you fill in the questionnaire: the access code we emailed you, which we check to open the page, plus your name, email, optional phone number, and your answers about your business - what it does, your priorities, the tools you use, your team. This is the material your kit is built from. Your 30 days of install support after that run on WhatsApp.
- If someone referred you: the name or code you enter, so we can credit them.
- When you email or message us: whatever you send, kept as an ordinary correspondence record.
While you are filling in the questionnaire, your draft answers are saved in your own browser's local storage. They stay on your device and reach us only when you press submit. Your browser keeps a few small things there too: your access code, notes about which parts of the site your code unlocked, and whether you picked the Mac or the Windows instructions. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it, and you would then enter your code again.
What we use it for
- Replying to your walkthrough request, with at most two short follow-ups after it if we do not hear back. Say stop and we stop.
- Building your personalized kit from your answers - that is the product.
- Delivering it, running install day with you, and supporting you for the 30 days after. That support runs on WhatsApp.
- Sending you the emails that belong to your purchase: your access code, delivery, install scheduling, support follow-ups, and quarterly upgrade notes.
- Crediting the person who referred you, if you named one. They are told a sale happened through their code - never who you are.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list. The only messages we send are the ones described above - by email, and on WhatsApp during your 30 days of install support after you buy - and a person writes each one.
Where it lives
- A walkthrough request is stored in a private repository (GitHub) that only we can access - your name and email - and we note it in our own private list of people to write back to.
- Your questionnaire answers are stored in that same private repository.
- Your finished kit and prep documents are staged in a private Google Drive folder shared with your email address alone.
- Correspondence lives in our email accounts.
Who else touches it
Only the service companies that make this site, the sale and the delivery work: Stripe (payment), GitHub (submission storage), Google (delivery folder, email, and the web fonts on the main page, which means Google's font servers see your IP address and browser when that page opens), Vercel (hosting this site and running the visit counter described in section 06), and WhatsApp (Meta) - only for the 30 days of install support after you buy. Walkthrough requests are answered by email, never on WhatsApp. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy, for the job named here and nothing else.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We would disclose it only if the law required us to.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, and there are no ad trackers or advertising pixels on it. We do run one analytics tool on the main page, Vercel Web Analytics, so we can see which pages people actually read.
The main things it records are the page you looked at, any tags on the end of the link you followed, the site or link you arrived from, your rough location by country, region and city, your device type, browser and operating system, and the time. Two extra events tell us the page is working: one when someone sends the walkthrough form, and one when someone clicks a pay button, with the name of the plan. No names, emails or phone numbers are put into it.
It uses no cookies. To tell a returning reader from a new one, Vercel makes a scrambled code out of the visit itself and throws that code away every day. Vercel says this means a visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next, or on any other website. Your IP address is not kept with the counts. We do not use any of it for advertising and we do not sell it. Vercel also keeps ordinary server records, the way every web host does, so the site stays up.
What this site's own pages keep in your browser - your questionnaire draft, your access code, and a couple of settings and unlock notes - is described in section 02. Those stay on your device.
How long we keep it, and your choices
We keep your purchase and questionnaire records for as long as you are a customer, because your kit's upgrades are built from them. Records the tax law makes us keep, we keep as long as it says.
If you only asked for the walkthrough and never bought, we keep your request and our note of it so we know who we have already written to. There is no fixed period on that.
The visit-counter numbers sit with Vercel for as long as its plan keeps them, and we do not control that date. Those numbers are not tied to a person, so there is no individual record inside them to look up.
Email us any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. That is open to anyone whose details we hold, whether you bought something, asked for the walkthrough and never bought, or only wrote to us once. If you ask for deletion, we remove what we are not legally required to retain, and we confirm when it is done. We do this because it is how we run the business, not because a statute makes us. Asking costs nothing and changes nothing about how we treat you.
Not for children
This site and product are for business operators and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. A change never applies backwards to data you already gave us without telling you.
